FS 2004 GT3

The US market is the last world market to recognise the value of the 996 GT3, possibly because there are so many of them there (comparatively speaking)? It will only be a matter of time before it corrects itself IMO. Even at 150K in Australia, there still isn't anything that comes close to the driving experience in $ terms. The 996 GT3 is stuck in the middle ground of the 911 world, perfectly wedged between old and new, and it's a great place for it to be.
Isn't a new 991rs crazy expensive with tax in Aus?

I hadn't driven my car in like 3 weeks after I detailed it and tucked it away under the car cover.
Well I had about 2 hours to kill this morning and went on a very quick drive. Just to SCS and then back down Topanga Canyon. Of course there was traffic so I just coasted at like 10mph to build a gap and then blasted through the canyon until I hit traffic again. Just a few corners and I remembered why I won't be selling this car anytime soon...

So, when it comes to lap times these cars start to show their age. Especially at tracks that high hp plays a big role. Still think 996/997gt3 are the best compromise for street/track. Newer cars are just to fast to be any fun on the street.

Can someone convert the Aussie-criminal dollars to proper currency like USD or Euro?

Yes, we work hard for the government here in Aus, both at pay day and when you go to buy a toy, the tax man is always there to collect. Not taking inflation into account (as 240k back then is aboit 330k in today's money), its depreciated by 100k or so but 18 months ago they were 80-100K...excellent value for money at those prices.

Gorgeous car... Glad you decided to keep it. Perhaps I'll see you (well, your car) sometime at HPR and come say hello.
Since this thread has some good insight on 6 GT3 pricing expectations, what are peoples thoughts on 'market correct' pricing for no-stories, fully-sorted examples with higher miles? Like 50K or 60K?
I'm very tuned in to pricing on some other Porsche models, 996 Turbo's, 997 non GT3's, 991.1's for example, but I'm considering a 6GT3 and still coming up to speed on pricing.
Also, seems like they are trending upwards? I know 6Turbo's are definitely on the rise...
