Default Misfire Cyl 5

I have a CEL code for Cyl 5 misfire. I will tear into it tonight. What should I be looking for, typically?

I changed spark plugs six months ago to Bosch, I think.

I had a misfire during a trackday and it was cyl 5. Was a fouled plug. Car felt like I lost 80 hp. At thill I usually in the 133-137 mph prior to brake zone at t1- I was doing 114 mph with said issue. Mike

I pulled out the coil on 5 and noticed that the connector was very loose. There was no visible crack or damage. Resistance measured 0.8 ohm across the two outer pins, similar to number 6 coil. So, I swapped 5 and 6 coils just for the hell of it, pushed down on the connectors tightly, and cleared the CEL. Fired it up, seems to run well, but I did not drive it. I should have looked at the plug too.

It is a 996 GT3

Two days now without anymore problems. I think it was that connector to the number 5 coil that was loose.
