Looking for GT3
Hi,
I am new to the forum and I am on the search for a 04 or 05 GT3. I plan to use it for weekend drives and DE Days.
I also would appreciate any insights on what to look for and what to stay away from. All coaching is welcome!
If you know of a car that would be a good prospect please let me know.
Thanks Joe

Obviously if you are looking for a stock(ish) car this aint it. I would look for cars that already have the euro seats + tequipment roll bar + coolant hose fix + rear toe links if you are going to occasional hit the track. It's getting harder and harder to find these.

Guys,
Really appreciate the quick response and imputes. That is an awesome car; and if I were heavily focused on just track it's the ticket. However I do want a car that will balance between track and taking the wife out for a ride in the mountains.
I think the car may be a little closer to Gate58's comment. But will keep my mind open to possibilities as that may be a needle in the haystack.
Thanks Joe

Seriously, the only way to really enjoy these cars, on the street or the track is to upgrade some of the components, like KK2 has done. There are way way more focused 6-3's out there for track only work. KK2's car is just right for combo use.

^ my wife when it had oem sport seats maybe 2-3 times(she hates it). With euro fixed seats lasted 4 blocks. My daughter hates it too. I don't really like it myself for street driving but pure nirvana on the track!!! Mike
