Default New 996 GT3 Owner

Hello everyone!

Proud new owner of a Polar Silver GT3 here in Santa Barbara

I picked it up from a private seller in San Luis Obispo with just under 36k miles. It currently has a full FVD exhaust setup, Ohlins R&T coilovers, and Porsche motorsport toe links. I plan on getting the car out on track next spring after I stockpile some steel brakes, track pads, and a 2nd set of wheels/tires. Speaking of wheels, if anyone has a used track set for sale then let me know! Cosmetic imperfections are fine as long as the wheels are straight/true.

Congrats. Love Polar Silver. The photo does not show the blue of Polar very well and makes it look more like Arctic Silver.

Welcome to Rennlist and congratulations on your purchase! Ohlins, very nice. Look in the classified section or post a WTB thread for a set of wheels. I'm sure someone has something you could purchase.

Thank you for the kind words everyone.

Here are some more (iPhone) pics I've taken since I picked it up Friday evening. Still figuring out how to capture Polar Silver effectively.

That's a very good looking car. Congrats. Drive it like you rented it.

Congrats, my car's twin, you'll love it. Almost the same exact miles too. Mine is stock except Fabspeed exhaust.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I've been trying to reply to the thread with more pictures, but for some reason my posts don't show up.

Still working on finding the best light to take pictures of Polar Silver in.

Great eye! I was thinking about adding SY gauge faces, but I actually like the white/silver faces much more than I thought I would.

Nice shot.. starting to see the Polar there. I was going to add white faces but the black faces - and body colour - have grown on me more than I expected. The photos of SY faces are too intense IMO but I haven't driven with them...
