Default Scaled the GT3 tonight ...

Using Intercomp scales, with full tank of gas: 3167 lbs.

Options on this US 2004 GT3 are:
Xenon's, PCCB, A/C, Thicker Steering Wheel, Black Mats

Manual says empty (depending on options) 3042-3152 lbs.

So does empty mean no gas?

So is it 3176 - (5.5 lbs or 7 lbs per gallon x 16.6) ??

Default

6 lbs. for petrol, 7.5 lbs for oil.

There are various definitions of empty weight and I have no idea which they are using.

If they do mean with full oil and fluids but no petrol and no driver then there is still 25-30 lbs to account for (assuming their low figure is for no options other than PCCB's which should be the lightest). Is air conditioning really an option on the GT3 Mk2? If so, that accounts for the extra weight and now you are spot on or slightly underweight.
