996 GT2 Market
I have my car for sale and am astounded at how strong the market is. I have 2 dealers offering me nearly my asking price and I get new emails daily from private buyers. I really am trying to have fewer cars and have my slant nose on consignment now but I would be pretty upset if this market did a 993TT jump and I sold here.

Not surprised about the offers, nice car and will keep pulling strong(and stronger) money...
Keep GT2, sell 930...enjoy the drive

You little girls on the forums know exactly nothing of this car and what work it required but I love the presumptions. Reminds me of when I raced and the most vocal and opinionated people on the forums did not race, had no experience racing, and didn't even have the car I raced. So please, ask questions first instead of jumping to conclusions.
That said, I do like the GT2 a lot but I sold my 996TT for it and I really need back seats so I bought a 997TT which is coming next week. If the GT2 market was not strong I would be destroyed. Also, how can I drive the market up? If you want another GT2 in Slate Grey (or any other color) go out and find one. The notion that I personally have the ability to move the market is so absurd I cannot believe I am responding.

+1 and I never understood why existing owners of GT2's, or other appreciating Porsche models get upset if someone gets top dollar for their car. That just means your vehicle is now worth more. And last time I checked, we live in a capitalistic society where supply and demand still work (err...minus Govt.), so if you can make $30K profit in 2 months, more power to you. If you don't want buy the car and pay the premium, don't.
