Went through this process last year.

The 'care abouts' for me were:
  • Rear Visibility
  • Getting the wing into 'clean air' (see above)
  • A gurney flap on the wing
I ended up going with a Grand Am wing at a price competitive with these - also needed a deck lid and uprights...

kk2 & Chris,

It looks like the wing is higher than the stock GT3 wing, but still low enough to block rear visibility. Do you know if the wing is at Cup car height or perhaps a little higher?

Did you consider the taller uprights Ray mentioned?

The wing is indeed higher than the stock wing, but it is visible in the rear view, although I got used to it very quickly and now don't notice it. I believe it mimics the Cup wing. Call Getty and I'm sure they will know. It certainly adds incredible downforce at high speed tracks.

Updated with pics, I got the car wrapped in matte grey metallic. Really like the way it turned out. Promised myself to not spend any money on non performing upgrades. (Well, you all know how that goes).
I put the new RS wing on.
Ordered a cup wheel from Gert a carneval. Took the old 996 wheel and sent it of to Dallas custom and installed it in my 993tt. (posting pictures in the 993tt forum)

Bought a new rs shifter from suncoast because it's cheaper than getting it redone.....

Mind telling me how much you spent on the steering wheel?

Looking good. Who's wing is that I was all set to do the aeromotions wing but decided it was too agressive for my car that is still very much more street than track. Back looking at RS wings again now. If I make it 6 more weeks track season will start and all I'll care about is tires and brakes!!!

That's not bad...you install it yourself? Any issues?

I didn't, but it's real easy. Zotz installed it because they did tech inspection and towed my car to Savannah. They didn't connect the horn button which is fine with me. Last weekend I took the 993 steering wheel out and installed the old 996 wheel in my 993tt. Doesn't take more than 10min.

I bought it of a fellow Rennlister. It's a GMG wing. I'm running 4deg shims.
This car is set up for track but still street legal.

The wrap looks great! Nicely applied! How much was that alcantara shift boot? Does it only come in red stitching? I bought one of those Cup wheels from a fellow Rennlister and brought it back to life. It looks amazing. Just need to install it now. I think I want one of those RS shift boots to match. Sweet!
