Default Cup Shifter cable availability

Trying to source 996 cup shifter cable, usual online sources are on backorder. My shop is looking through their connections and no success so far.

Does anyone know where I can get a set or is it still available?

Thanks.

I have a set of Numeric cables I can snap some pictures of in a day or two if that would help. I've not ever handled the CUP cables but these look pretty good with spherical bearings and billet ends. They had been back ordered and had to solve an issue with early sets but appear to be able to produce them now.

Thanks for the replies. Does the the Numeric cable improve the 2-3 up shifts as much as the cup cable?

The Numeric cables are great. We have installed many sets, and 2 sets this week. One was a custom length set for a 986 with a LS7 in it...

Cheers

Sounds Good. Whatis the best place to get it and is the Numeric shifter worth getting as well?

We have the cup cables in stock.

I also have a spare blue cable, for the case you don't need the full set.

If you want to improve shifting accuracy and feel, as well as lessen the likelihood of missed shifts, your best bet may be to stiffen up the transmission and engine mounts.

I've had owners tell me they installed upgraded shifters and cables, which did help some - but it wasn't until they upgraded their mounts that they really felt an overwhelming difference in shifting precision.

For GT3 owners that track their cars, I recommend the harder density black Trans Mount Inserts, along with upgraded Engine Mounts to achieve the most benefit.

CAE cables are another option (and their shifter is arguably the best available). Contact Adam at Hard Motorsport. From experience they are very good to deal with.
