Just wondering if anyone knows what items (manuals, tools, etc.) should be included at the time one takes delivery of a GT3?

When the GT3 is delivered,.... owners manual, warranty manual, maintenance manual, radio info are provided in a leather holder which fits in the glove box. Service manuals, and motorsport technical information are not included. They can be purchased in the aftermarket or from dealers though.

Basic tools for tire changing are included as well as a "flat fixer" kit. The security lug socket is also included. There is no jack nor spare tire.

It is a weight saving measure. Porsche figured that if they did without the spare tire and customers could deal with that, then we would not be additionally upset if he did not get a jack. I am investigating the possibilty of having an emergency spare tire in the trunk area as delivered with the other 996 models. It may possibly be attached to what is currently holding the tool kit in place.

I'm interested in your findings. See my post about GT3 spare tire. I'd definitely like to have an inflatable spare with jack and compressor. I won't know if it all fits until the car arrives at my dealer in 6-8 weeks.
