996 GT3 on Ebay
Greetings! I have seen this car on ebay for some time. It is priced under $50k. Is this due to the relatively high miles or the fact that the engine has been rebuilt? Could it be that seal grey is not a desirable color? Any info on this car would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Service records would be key.
Nothing short of giving a deposit to have the car delivered to the dealer for a PPI would get me into this car as it is being sold by a general used car liquidator.
that being said, given the miles it is why the price is low and if indeed rebuilt by the dealer then it could be a possible bonus.
996GT3 for $50k is a lot of car for the money considering the price of a 997GT3 or 964RSA.

I saw the other thread but also called the buyer prior to seeing the thread. He seemed short and didn't offer too much detail. He wasn't sure when the rebuild happened (miles wise) and didn't know why it was rebuilt or what went into it. The lowest he said he would do on the phone was 48K. The way i see it you can put another 10-12K (worth it) on top and get a lower mileage, cleaner car from someone here. You'll get the $ back with peace of mind + resale value later on.
