Default Water + battery charger

The garage where my gt3 clubsport mk1 is parked got flooded with 5-10cm of water. The car seems fine/dry in general (thank god). The battery charger was however taken out as it got wet.

The car is now completely dead (nothing lights up when the key is turned) so I guess the charger blew a fuse when it got wet. The charger (CTEK) was hooked up to the battery poles with the CTEK adapter.

I am 650 kms away from the car so have not had a look at it myself. I would like to have you insight on a few things:

- Where would the fuse be located?
- What are the odds the ECU/alternator/... got taken out?
- Do you think the battery is dead?
- Anything else to look for?

Thanks

1 - Check the battery that it is charged, and if it is
2 - Try locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key - open a window first if you plan to sit in the car when restarting.
