This is a clear sign you need to sell the car back to me.
I had it insured through AAA in Colorado prior to your ownership - they have never given me a problem. Currently have an R8, GT3 and GT3RS insured through them.

Shop around.
I had State Farm for a long, long time, but they suddenly jumped my rates (and everyone else's in Florida), so I bolted to Liberty Mutual. Now State Farm keeps calling me with a parity bid to Liberty Mutuals to get me back.
Both companies have been excellent for me and I drive mine daily (80,000 miles in last 6.5 years).

Lots of good information here, this place is great! In Canada most if not all normal auto insurance companies have excluded track insurance even for non-timed events like PCA DE.

I have Hagerty for many including my GT2. They required me to be in a club for something this "new".....funny, they accepted my driving club to count. Great deal and no coverage of on track damage, but I just wanted to be legal and protect it against others! I'll accept anything that I do in anger on track.....

I'm insured with TD Insurance, very easy to deal with, good rates, and no trouble insuring it for an appraised value...sounds like it's a lot easier to insure a GT2 in Ontario/Canada (and I am a YOUNG guy..)

Now why would I do that. We all know better not to discuss DE with our insurers. Where in policy does it say a non timed DE claim will be denied?

Initially I asked my StateFarm agent because I wanted to know if I would need to get extra insurance for DE if I did in fact want to be covered. After hearing so many people have their insurance denied for track incidents and even worse for damage caused from incidents on the street once the Insurance company found out that they also took the car on track then my reason for letting StateFarm know that I do DE changed. Now I wanted to get it in writing from them that they would cover my car for any incident that may occur on the street even though I take the car to DE events. That was confirmed and I am still with StateFarm both of us accepting our terms of business. If you want to leave it to chance then sure don't contact them but I would recommend full disclosure to remove the chance for unpleasant surprises.
