Glad to hear that! Ok so I happen to have a piece of wood flooring that was exactly 3.5 inches wide so I used it as prop and I think that a blade of that width would be good. Oh yes I measured the distance from the wood plank to the floor and there was 3 and 1/2 inches of clearance left based on my car ride hide which is currently 4 inches off the ground measured at the bottom of the bumper in front of the tire.

That's great, thanks. So I'm guessing the height at the center of the bumper would be 6". you don't think the 3-1/2 would stick out too far ahead of the bumper?

I don't think it would be too far, but I do have a 4 inch custom spliter on the front of my 993 Track Car

Could the mounting of the lower to the upper be done underneith with slotted openings allowing for the amount of forward "poke" to be adjustable? Make it to where it could extend up to 3.5" but you could run less if you want?

Moving the splitter forward to back would create too many alignment issues and make it a three piece unit. I plan on a flat bottom for this as an option which would also add difficulty to moving it in and out. At some point there needs to be a decission of cost. It could all be done but will it sell if the splitter costs a ridiculous amount because of all the variables.

I've just ordered one, I'll post with pictures when it arrives.

Would this work on a 996 GT2 we have issues with loading and unloading not to say the advantages of this being adjustable track to track.

I think we'd have the same advantages -- problem is I can't seem to find anyone near Joe T. for good measurements...

See this. I posted a bunch of photos and my impressions of it. I'm very happy with his 2-piece splitter.
