Default Wider front fenders?

Does anyone know if there is a good quality front fender available for the 996 GT3 that will allow you to run a wider front tire ?I would love it if PMNA had such a part available although I am sure it will cost the equivalent of the national debt of Cyprus!Alternatively any suggestions about fitting say a 265 front to the car as it sits ?Thanks in advance HOM

Might not be what you are looking for as you are looking for the complete fender, not the "extension".. but this let you widen your front track about 1" on each side..

http://www.cargraphicts.com/index.php?id=128883&L=1

Click on the "Extension Kit"

Basically, the bolt-on / rivet-on style from the 993GT2..

Getty designs makes a fiberglass front fender that is an inch wider than stock but still looks good with narrow body rears.

Seems like a good option if the fit and finish is decent. Only $1,200 for the pair.

I've heard their fit and finish is one of the best in the industry aside from Porsche (obviously) and DP. It's fiberglass so it will need a little bit of work but I bet they can look good.

This is true too. I rolled fronts on my old 996 turbo and ran 9.5s. Always wanted to try the Getty fenders though.

Just becareful. Use a heatgun or blow dryer to warm up the paint around it or the paint can crack. At least that's what I've read online...
