Default NOLA on St Patrick's Day

This was my first time driving on the NOLA Motorsport Park track. The track is fantastic. It was only a one day event organized by Mardi Gras PCA. The two videos are from my GoPro and iPhone. I am chasing Felix in these clips, we have identical cars with the same tires, AD08. My best lap was 2:04. Stephen, Dale and Felix, I will be back, it was a great day.

The clips shows up as duplicates, not sure why. Interesting

Was a fun day for sure. I was able to run both my GT3 and my BMW 1M. Two totally different cars for sure with different ways to attack the same track. I prefer the GT3 but the 1M was funs as well.

As for the NOLA facility, whew! What is not to like. Maybe that it doesn't have any elevation changes but we are in South Louisiana, the only elevation changes around are man made levee's. Ha. Jokes aside, the track and facility is wonderful. Absolutely top notch. Nice and challenging with good grip. I am very happy that a facility like this exists in my state that is so easy to get to.

Some good smooth driving there Tor, looking good!!!

Tor - It was great meeting you and spending the day driving the track with you, Stephen, Dale and the rest of the group. It's not often that we see four 996 GT3's on track at the same time around here. You are quite hardcore to do a full event at NOLA and make the drive back to Houston, not to mention pumping your tires by hand!

It took me 7 hours to drive home. One of Bobby Tindall's escort vehicles drove off the road after Baton Rouge so I-10 became a very long parking lot. Those MaxSpeed seat are not built for comfort!!!
And no cruise control!!

Hey there,

Was very nice meeting you.
Later in the day I was looking for you to talk some more but could not remember your face as I am so poor at names. Apologies

It was good seeing a strong 996 GT3 turn out that day.

Left right before the last session. Had a great time learning the car and the track. Need another set of tires to run on the track. The Pilot Sports are great, but at $450.+ apiece, wow.
