Need to weld coolant pipes

Hi Guys,
Before the DE season gets started, I am pulling the motor to do the RS clutch package and weld the coolant pipes. Despite Sharkey's assurances, i am going to keep the car for a long time and I am going the weld route. The metallurgy should not be a problem and I am just more comfortable with this fix.
Does anyone have a source who does the welding? I need someone who has done a few so they know how to maintain the pipe orientation and keep the welds small and tight. Will need to pressure check the final result before returning.
Please either post or send me a PM. I will follow up to tell how the final result goes.
Thanks
Paul

A very good friend of mine welded mine for me without any issues. He is a fabricator by trade and works with thin aluminum welding on a daily basis. The work was top notch, pressure tested and has been on my car a year now (and quite a few track days) without issue. He is doing another set right now for another local Rennlister. Best of all his price was reasonable, turn around time about a week. PM me if you would like his info

Someone posted a thread either here or on the 997/GT3 forum listing all the shops in each state and Canada that have done this retrofit
BTW, if the two elbow pipes that have to be oriented a certain way have not already come loose, you can just mark a straight line from the elbow down onto the manifold with a Sharpie and use that to retain the correct orientation when welding

It's a simple procedure that any aluminum welder can handle. I paid $150 bucks to get it done at a local fabrication shop.
You can certainly send it shops that have done it before, but it will cost you more: GMG in Santa Ana, IPB-Autosport in Sacramento, etc.
