Cup Lip Reattachment & Cargraphic Bumper Screens Installed; Write Up & Pics
A little Spring cleaning if you will
My Cup lip was sagging a little and I could see some grit was embedded between the lip and the bumper so I decided to pull it, clean it, and reattach with fresh tape.
Cargraphic Screens
My Cup lip was sagging a little and I could see some grit was embedded between the lip and the bumper so I decided to pull it, clean it, and reattach with fresh tape.
- I used a heat gun and a plastic putty knife to aid in the removal of the tape.
- I did the first pass of cleaning with a wet MF towel and a standard degreaser
- For polishing I used Poor Boys SSR2 and a White pad
Cargraphic Screens
- purchased from Automotion; they are the Cargraphic screens - link Use a coupon code to save some cash! )
- I used a 3/16 nit to drill the holes for the zip tie pass throughs
- I did not use any of the included Wurth sealant
- Make sure the screens are flush against the plastic intake surrounds before tightening down the zip ties
- They are pretty much invisible unless you are really looking for them

Excellent write up and pics (and clean car ) as always.
But now that you saw the "parts" and did the installation doesn't it make more sense to buy the mess from the local hardware store..

That looks great, and I sincerely appreciate this DIY post!
I used mesh acquired from Home Depot a few years back, but those Cargraphics screens look factory new... Nice work.

This thread gave me the inspiration to take off my bumper, re-do the Cup lip, and clean the radiator..
I feel now I know my car more now.. ha! The front bumper is not hard to remove... !!
