I got a little off topic there, sorry for that.
IF John is still making them for our cars that's the direction I'd go. I have 9's and 11's model C14's for my GT3 and they are amazing wheels. Not a single issue with them and they were used for multiple track seasons before I got them second hand.

Be sure to look at Forgeline too.. they have a line of wheels that's geared toward the track folks.. the VF-1 that I have does not have provision for center cap, etc. (lighter weight, save $$$, pass on the saving to the customer)

Three Wheelin'
I use the Volk T37's which are similar to CCW in terms of performance and value. The only issue with the Volks is the weights seem to fall off no matter who does the install.

I simply didn't see this on my nearly 700BHP 996TT when I was running NT-01s on CCW C14 wheels. I was lapping PACING a 2008 cupcar (Clip on here or on youtube under user Mikelly996TT) without issues of slipping. I had marked the tires/rims because I wanted to know if it was a Hoosier or CCW issue.
What's interesting is my 2600 pound Datsun is running CCW LM20s and Hoosiers and I'm not slipping them either. And I'm pushing nearly 500# ft. torque with ZERO slip showing on any of those wheels. They're anodized, so who knows if that is an issue.

When Forgeline was promoting their VF-1 line of track wheels, they were under $3k a set.. the price (at the time) was actually cheaper than a set of comparable new CCW..
Maybe the deal is no longer available.. check w/ Dave at Forgeline..

I have a set of C14's on my Cayman S and they are great. I had two that had cracks in the spokes but John replaced the two rears quickly and at no charge. I thought it was good service.

I had C14 for years on my 964 with absolutely no problems. The C14 shown in Chris R's post is the older style. CCW now shot peens at least the one piece forged C10 and C14 to reduce the potential for cracking.
I like the idea of improving the structural integrity of the wheel by shot peening, but I still haven't warmed up to the rough surface it leaves on the C10 I now use on my 6GT3. Since they are track wheels I'm not really too concerned.
For those that care about appearance and understand the potential problems, I think CCW may soon offer in house powder coating at a modest cost.
