New to Me 996 GT3
Thanks to all the members for all your support! I just have to believe that God works all things together for the good. I missed Bill911's car by a few grand and was dissapointed afterwords. I found another car that I almost bought until I found that it had a story. As I was reading about the story and my excitement of the deal I had just made, turned to sadness. It was late night as I researched the story car and I thought, Oh well, I guess I should peek at what is new in the fs section and WHAMO, there she was.
I imediately sent the seller a pm and then another and then an email. The following day he called me and the process of inspections began. During the process, I learned that the car had some nice options such as full leather, body color painted vents, console,seatbacks,pedals,thicker wheel with silver accents, quad tips,pccb,(aftermarket ft hats and AP 350 steel rotors ft/rear with yellows and best of all since I drove it 1000 miles CRUISE CONTROL!
Very well maintained car that only had 5k miles from seller who did about 7 DE's during that time of ownership and advanced fluid changes. He is moving to a race car. Car checked out with some type 1 but zero type 2 over-reves and had 21,900 on the clock. Tires were super old but ps2's so I drove the speed limit home but I got a nice set of OZ allegretta wheels in the right size for the car.
Seller was #1 first class type of guy and the car came with a ton of records and he was OCD about full disclosure which I like, much like me. I feel as though I made some new friends in AZ and he and his wife were extremely helpful. So here she is.
Off to my detail guy today and will get more pics soon, Interior is really cool. Look kinda familiar Mikelly?

A little jealous, congrats on the new purchase, love the color. Glad everything worked out smoothly with your purchase and can't wait to see more pictures of it detailed. Any future modification plans yet ?

I've put 10K on mine in 5 months.. What can I say? I LOVE this car... Well done Tom! What's the interior like?
