Be patient and shop for the right one. I did and am so glad I did, even if I had to get it shipped from California to Va. Well worth the end result.

I've started casually looking at these as well. So what adds value to these cars? Highly optioned? Exclusive features? Mods? Track vs no track? Pccb's? Oem original? Color? Help the 996 GT3 rookie.

I think all three cars mentioned in this thread seem over-priced. The market is only "red-hot" for the cars that are priced right. If they are priced high they just sit.
Thanks, sales rep told me that it was on consignment till the car the owner has ordered comes in at which time he will officially do a trade. Told me best price was 62k.

I have seen the Oregon car. It's very nice but I was taken aback by the price. Hence, my above questions.

IMO, $62k isn't bad for that car. Some might be put off by the fact it's been tracked though.

It looks like the only thing that matters is mileage, track vs no track, and color. Depends on the buyer though.

It doesn't seem like options matter at all. The one that might matter is a/c, which was optional. Some see PCCB as a pain, but that is easily remedied. I, for one, prefer my yellow calipers.

Hopefully we all see these 6GT3 prices continue to climb!
And why not? They sure don't make them any more, and they
dont make anything even remotely equivalent. Every year there are fewer and fewer. Those who own should be setting our price...and we should continue to raise the bar. Just look at how many are for sale on a given day in America. Less than current 991 inventory on any Porsche lot....and have you driven a 991? Need I say more?
