WTB: 996 gt3 RS or Manthey wing

With a wider stance with aeromotions wing- was it actually wind tunnel tested? I know it has downforce but is it verifiable as a benefit? I don't care ugly I want positive results with wider wing. Cupcar wings aren't quite that long but it's definitely higher up. Mike

Bingo, the key isn't nearly as much getting it wide as it is getting it up to the roofline as much as you can.

Yes, the wing was wind tunnel tested (on a 911). IIRC, it's just as wide as a cup wing, bigger than OEM (running in cleaner air on the side of the car) and also up higher than OEM/RS.
They published wind tunnel results (heck, I think I posted them as well). Results also speak to effectiveness.

correct! hehehe
you know, canadian drivers are already fast. So we're just adding esthetic bolt-on stuff to shine more, no need to be faster when we're already a lot faster than the us guys.

Canada is like your attic, every time you go there you think, "Wow, I didn't know that was up here." lol

You've been getting good advice here. I went with OEM, only because it's a Porsche part (quality & resale). The Manthey checked all my performance boxes to.
I have to say my whole car feels more stable at speed (140mph+) and I have more confidence cornering. This is all subjective, but I wouldn't drive without it now.
