Got some lift time over at Dell's today
Knocked out the following...
+ Oil & Filter Change; 6 months usage with 2 DEs (should have been 3)
+ Transmission Fluid Change; 6 months usage with 2 DEs (should have been 3)
+ Rebuilt Girodisc Rotors (2 years; 13 events)
Got the Motive PF from Apex and the Girodisc rotors from RSS

The tranny fluid change was really a breeze this time due to 2 improvements:
+ changed the 10mm female hex head fill bolt to a 19mm male bolt
+ used the new Motive Power Filler to fill pretty much effortlessly
I was really surprised by the amount of rubber on the insides of the hats; some was old and was like charcoal.
No drama with the reassembly; really straight forward; took maybe ~45min a side:
- pull the caliper
- disassemble the rotor/hat
- clean up hat
- reassemble new rotor and hat
- re-install rotor and caliper with street pads

Now that's a spring clean! Were u feeling reverb from the gunk in giros?
Also how did the old rotors look?
My giros arrive next week - cant wait!
Sligthly OT - Wow dell - that's a sweet a$$ setup - nice job! No wonder the mod slope is slippery

Nice work and beautiful work space!
When looking closely at the picture of the back side of the rotor and hub assembly, is the spring retainer missing on some bolts and a 2 of retainers were installed upside down? Was this how they were assembled when you initially received the rotors? Just curious for my own sake.

Nope, you are correct; there are not spring clips for each location; its every other bolt. This was how the originals were assembled as well; man they were rusted on good too! Link to assembly pdf (link)
