Pagid Yellows as an OEM Option

Pagid Yellows as an OEM Option
I changed the front pads and rotors on my GT3 this week and Renato at RSP was surprised to see Pagid yellows on the car as the brakes haven't been changed since new.
The pads had a symbol stamped on it that is found on Porsche OEM pads, and after a call to Atlanta learned that the car was ordered from the factory with the yellows. There is a chance that the Porsche yellows have a slightly different makeup than the aftermarket P-70 yellows. Anyone know for sure?
I'll bet most of the tech nerds here knew that, but to me, learning quirky things about the car while I own it, is one of the joys of GT3 ownership.

Yup, the 6 pots come with pads that are yellow.
Isn't learning all the cool stuff about these cars fun? Heck, I sold mine and I still love learning all the crap I can about my long lost love.................

the yellow Pagid pads that come from Porsche are NOT the same as what we call 'Pagid Yellow' race pads. If you ordered a new set from Porsche, they would, again, be painted yellow, but not be the full race pads.
The factory pads are P90.
When we bought our 6GT3 it has the race Pagid yellows, and OMG did it stop on a dime. so much so for street driving that it was difficult to drive in traffic. However...they squealed so bad you could hear them for a mile since you never could really get them hot.
Switched over to 'stock' pads (Pagid P90, painted yellow) and its stops great, but not nearly as harsh as before. but much quieter.

These are the stock GT3 pads. They are yellow but not the same as the race pads. I just discovered this myself recently.

I got pads just like that when I ordered stock pads from a company here in Sweden. Just to check they were the right ones, I looked up the part number in PET. There it says 996.351.948.00, but on the pads it is 996.351.943.00, like in your picture. Why is this?

Are the pads in question here (996.351.943.00) the OEM pad for steel rotors and not ceramic? I just got a set of these on the assumption that they are for the steel rotors, so I hope I got the right ones.
*Update* - Never mind. I found the answer I was looking for.

revival! its bang on target rather than create more threads ...
I ordered Rs29s as I'm 90% track and one set (ie 4 arrived) and then a set of these other yellows 996 351 943 00 as above (stamped pf90 ff too)
This guy claims they're also RS29s but as Porsche sells them they brand them with the PN, while the others came direct from Pagid.
Per Craig and Bob Saville above - thanks! - these ARENT the same as RS29s - how do I prove that to the sender in Germany?
ps - I've searched the PN and only this thread and Slow's epic on PCCB comes up - CGT mentions these but in context of using them w PCCBs
