Does anybody know how the blurry 'deformed' images occur ? I never had that before. Mounted the GoPro on a 3M sticker mount this time instead of the 'wrap around the roll cage" mount. Could that be the reason or is it something else ?

The 'blurry wavy' images were caused by the 3M 'sticker' mount. Went back to the roll bar mount and problem was solved.

I drove this event for all the 3 days and on friday there was rain. I drove real Michelin full wets for the first time. This was a b s o l u t e l y amazing. Just like the kick of driving slicks. Unbelievable amounts of grip. Unfortunately my front view camera footage got lost and i only have rear view footage of that session.

After driving for 2 days in the Sport group (Fun / Sport / Race) i moved to the Race group on Sunday mid day. Most of the cars on slick tires and the majority of them serious cup cars and real race cars. Very intimidated by the idea going out there with a standard 996 GT3 on MPSC but was overtaking almost everybody in the sport session and wanted just check it out.

This session also shows how crowded it is and what a spectacle this event is. It's held every year and whoever gets a chance to go out there next year should do it. Maybe we should get a Rennlist group together for next year.

Hello Q&A,

Could it be that just before the first video started, you passed a yellow 993 widebody ?

If so, it would be me :-)

I remember the paradise films decals on your car, you were indeed flying !

Lap times just under 3 min ?

I lapped at 3.08 best lap, short on power or need closer gears in order to keep up more.

Amazing how many of the recent GT3 drivers are lapping so slow in the sport series...

Able to keep up with 70% of them, 20% just too fast and 10% just flying. (that would be including you I believe)

I have some in car video's but have to figure out how to post them.
If you were to have me on vid, before shooting by ... Could you post it ?

Harry's Laptimer recorded my personal best time @ spa so far at 2:51.6 .This was in race session 3.
Flowbe's (well done) best lap time proves that it is all about experience and driving skills. So i have still a lot to learn and that is what i feel is the real fun of driving: Making progress every time i hit a track ;-)
