A quick rule of thumb was that each 1mm shim will give you 0.1 degree of additional camber. 10mm = 1 degree. Also, as you add shims your wheel will be "pulled" forward increasing caster and the likelihood of rubbing in the front. When I added 7mm of shims, one trick I used was that I flipped the arms from one side of the car to the other thereby putting the off center hole towards the front of the car. I then mounted the diagonal arm to the forward off center hole which effectively reduced caster back to where it was prior to adding the shims. Works like a charm....

also to remember placing shims in or out drastically alters you toe angel.

shim's in = toe in
shim's out = toe out
