very well stated and i agree with everything dell wrote.
let me add 7.2gt3/RS
for track use it's b/n 6gt3 and 7.1gt3 in feel.
in speed, it's fastest of the three gt3 variants.
but in feel on track only: best is 6gt3, then 7.2 then 7.1

Great write up Dell......gives me buyer's remorse on my 11 gt3........ Maybe should have waited for the 991 gt3 instead

Dell, did you do any power mods to your 6gt3 or just chassis?

Nope. Just suspension work and then had the gearbox regeared just before I sold it.
Interior was stock with Teq rollbar, GT3 seats. ECU was stock and never touched. Engine was stock and never touched.

The driver of the Corvette seemed to know his way around. I'm surprised how much more power he had on the straights.

Dave, that driver is Jim M. a VIR club member and VERY talented driver. That C6R was fast as all get out. I was amazed how fast it was on the straights.

you are using 6th gear on both straights with a stock gearset on the 6GT3?
