Ram mount. I'll post the part numbers after I get the baby to bed.

I use the TomTom GPS Iphone mount recommended by Harry's Laptimer.
It has a built-in supplemental GPS chip, speaker, charger port, and audio line-out jack.
The Iphone can slide back and forth within the mount for fine adjustmentzs to the camera view.
It works very well.

Rather than edit my post above, here's the info for the RAM mounts. High quality and lifetime warranty.

Here is the spreadsheet for the image below (pdf format). Embedded links in the .pdf take you to the RAM website.

You don't need all of these parts to work. I have the suction cup mount (for other cars) and a roll bar mount (for my car). If you just wanted the roll bar mount, you only need the actual mount, a knuckle and a holder (either the x-holder or snap holder). I bought a couple knuckles (long and short) to see have them available rather than needing to swap them out.

RAM has a bunch of custom stuff as well. It might take an hour or more to review all of it. Be sure to get the metal parts (RAM) and not plastic (RAP). I bought from GPS Zone because they have a decent returns policy and prices were competitive.

Thanks guys. Haven't done incar video in a long while. I just bought this iPhone app named "8mm projector" or something like that- Makes video look like old film quality with film artifacts in bw or color. U could even do silent mode with that old projector sound. Pretty cool. Again thanks. Mike

I'm sure you know this, but Harry's Laptimer works for video with data etc. That's why I have the various mounts. I currently run GoPro and performance box, but want to compare the iPhone data to see how accurate it is.

Hi Mike - if you are just looking for a quick and dirty one I've used a big fat rubber band to hold an iPhone4 on my rear view mirror. It's obscures some of the rear view but worked very well for just a quick trial with Harry's Lap Timer.

Cheap anyway !
