You know you wanna! You should be able to recoup close to the wing cost if you ever sell the car. Just pop it off and sell separately. That's another upside.

And you won't have to wait forever for an RS wing to pop up! Almost instant gratification with the group buy.

Just sayin'

Pics would be nice on the bigger wing. I'm still on the fence whether to go cupwing or this simply with this aeromotion no need to order a rear decklid and paint and make mods to inner lid to accommodate fan etc. I'm no podium finisher but fun to race even midpack or last place. Let us know how it feels on track once u try it out. Mike

Does the 65" static wing fit a 996 cup decklid with cup uprights ?

They might be able to work with the cup uprights. But, currently, the wing plugs right into the stock uprights. Give them a buzz. They are pretty responsive and very knowlegldgeable.

Just bought the wing. Hope to get it Friday.
I was the third buyer so the 5% is locked in, 2 more buyers and we all get the 10%.

Next stop is the Glen. Interested to see the difference on Esses.

love the wing...looks much better in person.a bit thinner than the RS wing...thanks TD(himself) for your help on the phone about the wing...as the endplates and shims come separately and i thought they forgot to send them.....

car feels more planted in high speeders and i would say with only one track day .5-1 sec at sebring ..will try again this weekend but well worth it imho...

go for it

The wing is on. Pretty simple. The link below has enough pictures and info to work through the installation.

High quality, nice look. The Glen next Monday & Tuesday should answer how much of a difference it makes.

Back from Watkins Glen. Three hot 25 minute sessions on Monday. Rained out on Tuesday. Based on the 3 hot sessions, the wing makes a difference. I don't have data collection in the car but I do check my speed at several points on the track. From turn 1 to the top of the Esses I have gained 4 to 5 MPH at the start of the back straight over last year's time. Coming out of the outer loop I have gained 3 to 4 MPH. The car feels more planted.

The wing was worth it for me.
