Thumbs down Dead beat buyer

Does any one know a Chris Michael's from the San Marino Ca. area? He stiffed me on some used GT3 parts and I'm trying to track him down. The phone number he used to text me is:

626-230-1368

Thanks,
Richard Lightfine

Sorry to hear this. I have had very good luck buying and selling from Rlisters. I've sent parts or money many times before receiving anything, and have not had a problem, even overseas. I hope we can help you get this resolved.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of trusting the guy so the answer to your question is "yes", i mailed the parts to him prior to receipt of payment. "Once bitten, twice shy" Thanks for the support guys.

You have his name, address and phone #. Are you close to him that you can ring his bell and ask for payment? I'm not suggesting anything more than that, just face to face people will tend to less of a d1ck than on the net.
Was it an expensive piece?

As you said, lesson learned.

I have bought and sold thousands of dollars of parts and merchandise over the years here on RL and the ONLY people that have sent me stuff before payment or me sending them stuff before payment are those people I know very well here and have known for some time. For example, mooty and I have swapped items many times in the past and not once was either of us worried about getting payment. Your trusting nature is a nice personality trait but there are many sociopaths here on RL that really don't care.

What Dell said. I've never ever had a problem with folks here on RL. Dell and Mooty are big parts dealers and there was always a trust factor with each sale.

So sorry to hear about this. Maybe a logical explaination?

Sorry that happened. I have used paypal because it protects both the buyer and seller in these cases.

That sucks. RL is a small community and I am sure over 90%+ of the users have good intentions. My expectations are typically exceeded then I conduct a transaction with a RL'er.

Really? They must be in sections that I don't frequent much.

Maybe you haven't been to OT, Politics, and the Racing forum

FYI....look up the DSM IV criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder (aka Sociopathy) and these deadbeats typically show many of the traits/symptoms listed.

I'm in San Marino. It's only 3 sq miles so he can't be too hard to find.. PM me his address and a list of what you sold him. I'll gladly knock on his door....
