Question RSS 4 Point 930 Series Bolt-In Hybrid Rollbar

Any feedback on this bar?

I may sell my Teq bar to Dell, so looking for a replacement; must be bolt in; little or no cutting required.

Scott, looks like a good bar, but check the height of the harness mount bar to be sure it's at least as high as the Teq bar. If lower it may make the HANs device uncomfortable. Don't ask how I know..

Nice bar. U probably have to cut the rear shelf carpet since its tied to rear strut or just leave rear shelf carpet off. Mike

FWIW... I have an RSS bar but not in the 930 variety.
Top notch! Fits perfectly, nice welds, well finished.
If the 930 was available when I was in the market, that's the one I would have sprung for.
Go for it.

I have this bar and am very happy with it. You do need to cut (or remove) the rear shelf carpet as the bar bolts to the shock mounts in the rear. It was a little tricky to bolt to the seat belt mounting points in the front. The bar mount was in the right place, but the angle was slightly off.

Yep; looked at their site and a few of the pictures illustrate that the rear deck area around those shock mounts are slightly cut; looks clean and neat.

Mike, what harnesses are you running, and how are the lap belts attached?

I'm running the Euro OEM GT3 seats/sliders with the Schroth GT3 harnesses and the lap belts both mounted to the mounting points on the seats.

I considered mounting the outboard lap belts to the mounting bolt for the bar, but I don't want to have to remove that bar mounting bolt if I want to remove the seats for something. It was tough to get in, and if I do it too many times I'm sure I'll strip the hole in the body of the car. The seats and sliders are set up and rated for the belts to be mounted directly to them, so that's the way I went.

Cool; that's very similar to my current setup. Wanted to try to avoid any 'gotchas!' for the harness and 3-pt install. Thanks!

Just pulled the trigger on the 930 setup, in Yellow. Mike at RSS was great to work with. I'll report back when I have ETA and install info!

Since you have to cut out some carpet... you may as well just take the carpet out. Just sayin'.
