is it relatively easy to remove the interior carpets/headliner? I have been thinking of doing the same. Does it require removing the seats?

^ if you want to preserve and reuse the carpet and headliner, you need to remove the seats and do it slowly. if, like me, you enjoy destroying things, you dont need to remove anything. just slit the caret longitudinally and PULL, PULL HARD.

the headliner is same. pull the A piller cover off and PULL the headliner, just PULL, it comes off in 2 min.

i had my carpet and headliner out in about 20 min.

Seats were removed so that the carpet came out intact.

Front carpet u need to take off seats- pretty easy only 4 bolts per seat and detach connector. Headliner is not pull out if u want to preserve it. U need a schematic - pm 911slow. If u go this route don't be surprised u be pulling out all the panels airbags etc- it was so fun removing it!!! Mike

maybe i'll start with the rear carpet then and go from there since that seems the easiest. There is no way to pull out the headliner with out destroying it?

Headliner can be removed wo be damage but u need a schematic to aid in removal. U have to remove the panels of which I know A pillar needs to be popped out but forgot the rest. There are steel rods side to side that are attached to headliner. Once so and so panels are removed its easy to see how to remove headliner. Mike
