I would venture to say that another reason they put the sunroof in the 997 GT3 is to set the gt3 rs apart when they don't put one in that. It's the Steve Jobs marketing philosophy.

I'd agree with that. That had to figure out a way to get the RS to come in lighter and the easiest was the sunroof and LWFW.

Why is that RGT still available, given that it is a true Ruf VIN car? I am of course a biased observer. My RGT is every bit as fast (or faster) as a 996 GT3, with the added benefit of an integrated roll cage, monster brakes, and a very nice interior.

OP, car looks fantastic... exactly what I'd be interested in. I'll be purchasing in the New Year once I get room for a new toy. If you have this or get anything new in, I'll definitely be in contact.
