i have a car like yours but more hardcore.
most buyers simply dont get it.
it's at least $40k in your mods.
so that car is at least 60k and up from there.
$40k... hahaha, dream on.

My setup was very similar to yours minus the wing

cheers,

Aravind - sorry to hear about your car. Did not get a pm from you - try resending please.

Mooty - that's the point. It's just easier to keep it and continue to run it. Car is so dominant - its silly!

Imagine taking 500 lbs off that beast!!! Very lite and nimble thru braking and turning : ). Best lw mod I done was replacing the steel doors with Getty doors( 125 lbs easy). Mike

And then you have to put the cage in

For time trials this car is setup perfectly just strip it, put in a killer seat and a fire bottle.

Present weight is 2750 dry. Still more lw items to do but no money due to wifey : (. My target is low 2600. Things still needed to do is lw front hood/ plastic front-rear plastic glass/ roof skin/ lw battery/ rear side plastic glass/ lw wheels/rear lid and cupwing/Motons + other suspension components- damn I got a long way to go : (. The Getty doors come in either fg or cf- about $1800 and $2200 respectively. Got a great deal from Mooty(fg) since he decided to do real cup doors. Mike

Well, looks like 2 for 2, but still another session left - although I'm not running it, track seems to be getting slower.

Had a light come on - Airbag Failure - not sure what it means but will take it by the dealer to figure it out.

Nice Work!

Did 1:40.5 - FTD again, although a tad slower than yesterday. For those interested in the full package - slicks have 4 heat cycles now.

What's a Toter? is that the iPhone's version of a "trailer"?

It's a toterhome - tractor trailer converted in to an RV type vehicle. There was a good combo for sale, but it's gone, so need to keep what I have.

Finally got home - car now has 31,130 on it. All washed up and sitting in the garage. Awesome weekend - never before have I started on pole 4 out 5 sessions, was the fastest car on track both days - pretty darn cool. Even better when you drove it there and back - no trailer!!

Well, have a couple people coming next week to see the car, if it doesn't sell that will just push me over the edge and it's getting caged!

Ok, well, that was an education. I just spent an hour online looking at these. I knew a bit about them, but not enough to know that they had a name. Very interesting, these toterhomes.
