? today's market on 996 GT3 ?
what's the average market price of the 996 GT3 these days? They seem to have gained a little bit of value since last year, but it's getting awfully close to the bottom end of the 997 GT3 market.
cars under 10,000 miles?
cars with more than 20,000 miles?
cars with track mods?
pristine stock cars?
Thanks

1) 60-ish
2) Mid 50's
3) high 50's
4) same as 1
Lots of outlandish asking prices these days, sellers seem to be pretty content with letting them sit there unless they get top dollar. Deals are out there every now and then.
Market bottomed winter of '09-10 Sharp increase spring of 10, another small increase sping 11. Hasn't really gone anywhere since about April this year.

There's a silver car with 40k miles in CA for $49.9 too.
I'm guessing neither will last long if they're legit and not junk. On the flip side there's also a salvage title car listed for $50k...and of course the 1100 mile red car that was posted here the other day they're asking $75 for. Market is crazy, if you can find a deal jump on it 'cause it won't last long. The rest will sit for awhile but will eventually find a buyer.

Why would I choose a 7.1 over a 6.2? To me, the "6" is more of a driver's car. Now the 997.2 on the other hand is a different beast. I plan to "upgrade" to one in a few years, though am tempted to follow Mooty's route of a stripper 996 (4.0?)... The rawness of the 6 is intoxicating...
Regarding pricing, I agree with Audi... Prices are all over the place, but in general seem to be rising...

Definitely prices are way up from last year. It looks like a 2007 GT3 is a better deal (lower mileage).
I'm glad to see the 996 GT3 prices staying strong, 50% value after almost 8 years, that's amazing. I like the 996 GT3, but I like the 997 GT3 better.

I sold mine for $45k with 45k miles back in 2009 Dec. Looks like that was the bottom of the market. Sale included 2 sets of brakes (PCCBs and PF), euro seats, rs front bumper and toe-links.

I recently paid $50K for '05 6GT3, 17K miles, $25K+ in "the right" upgrades, brand new $5K paint (car was stickered & wrapped track use car prior). Great deal....
I have now owned and driven it for a month incl several track weekends. Car is as described, no probs, awesome.

Great stereo with big sub woofer, sat-nav, aftermarket sunroof, undercar neon lights.....haha....kidding.
I can't figure out how to reduce the file size of the pdf to attach the actual list.
I will keep trying....
all the track type stuff:
half cage/harnesses/seats
chassis stuff - every corner built out, carbon strut bar,
brake stuff - cup car rotors, steel lines, pads
engine perf= Evo chip, Tubi w hi cell cats, Fabspeed intake, etc..
B&M shifter and cup car cables
yata yata
