Default Cat bypass + resonator update

I was about to box the cat bypass pipes and got them ready to ship if anyone interested. I like the set up with bypass pipe, it's good and cheap way to save 20lbs, and noticable performance gain. However, it was too loud to pass local track sound level of 103db. So I called Alex from fabspeed for options and he suggested to try out the resonators. He has no data of how many db it can drop as no one tried in this application. I was willing to try it out as I want to keep my car catless. I ordered a pair of resonators and they arrived in 2 days.

Here are some pictures for the resonators, finished pipes and on the car:

It does drop a few db and I did not get black flag on my last track day. The catbypass has high pitch sound and after adding the resonators, it sounds a bit quieter and deeper. It droning a bit but its a track car so I don't care! It adds 5 lbs to the back but now I can have a cat bypass and able to run the car flat out without black flag

Have not run Mission but I doubted! This year I got black flag in both PIR and PR before adding the resonators. ORP was fine as there is no sound limit.

Ooooo daddy like. Thanks for posting.

I am moving to muffler bypass pipes and have been considering trying out their cat x-pipe system, but cat bypass plus resonators looks good too. We need a clip!

Hey MTB, the setup looks great and I'm glad it worked out nicely for you. I will offering this option to customers now, our catbypass X Pipe with resonators if anyone is interested. Enjoy it and have fun out there. Let me know if you have any questions and PM me if anyone is interested and I will make you a nice member deal on it.
thanks,

Were you running the cat AND the muffler bypasses?

Thanks,
