See Slow's response. You need this for flat out driving.

Interesting. I'm ordering a new Getty trunk lid for my Cup wing and he offers the same option - maybe it's worth considering!

Search archives for fitment issues. I can't remember which version out there sucked, but at least one manufacturer made a version that the customer ended up tossing due to poor fit.

Had the GMG carbon fiber version. Great fit with double sided tape only.

It sure is purdy....and would look great on my car. Can you tell the current owner he doesn't need it?

Mooty swears by Getty - I figure if it's good enough for Mooty, it's good enough for me!

I bought the scoop from FVD directly. The piece I recieved had a bit of a twist and did not lay flat on the car. My shop said it would not be worth rebuilding the piece and said I should return it. FVD stood behind the product and refunded my money.

Frustratingly, this is where I am at today.

Tinkering this afternoon, I noticed light shining through the corners of the unit where it lifted from the rear deck. I've pulled the piece and am contemplating the next move. Since its already painted, not sure what FVD will say.

Gee, I hope they did not make a mistake put my return back into their stock. Either they re-sold you my return or they recieved a bad bacth from Germany. Was it painted white?

In my leap from the frying pan, I purchased a replacement scoop from Porscheshop in the UK.
The charge hit my card on June 9. In last conversation with them, it is on its way. It must be on that slow boat I have heard so much about. Better a warped scoop than no scoop.

Gold Crest is going to handle the return and send me a refund. Gold Crest +1

So nothing, or perhaps GMG.

Porscheshop (link) looks like the same piece as FVD (pic link)
