I'm looking at a used 996 GT2 and I noticed that the engine is exposed under the car. Are these cars supposed to have a cover (my 993 had large under-car plastic covers for the motor and gearbox)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks, but a mechanic friend told me they stopped using the engine covers after the 993.

I was going to respond last night that I don't believe the 996 GT2 has an engine undertray. I checked the parts document and no panel back there. I can check a 996 GT2 car for you if needed.

Not necessary - thanks for the offer!
