Default Video: Porsche Days @ Spa Francorchamps

For me THE highlight of my track days so far (started racing for the first at this event, 1 year ago) and will be back definitely next year. Porsche Days at Spa Francorchamps held May 20,21 and 22. Here one of my sessions: http://www.youtube.com/user/ParadisePorsche

Gave him all the room so you could see it more clear ;-) ha ha

I'm not fast at all compared to most of the drivers on those days. This is the (entry) FUN class. Tried the next level SPORT also, but had to make room most of the time and ending up picking too up much rubber from leaving the racing line, and looking only in my rear mirror ;-(

I've noticed that most 964 RS drivers (and there cars of course) seriously quick. Most of the speed is produced between your ears and that's my learning curve at the moment.

sorry only teasing!!! Spa is a track that deserves a LOT of respect (I understand) from what I saw your driving was very good ...

Having driven a 964 a number of years ago, they teach you a lot about smooth driving so I think it is not surprising that a lot of 964s are fast ... they are a great (if a little quirky) education!

there was a LOT of traffic also which makes it hard to get a flow and build up speed/confidence

loved the video ... and I am a little jealous that you have Spa in your "back yard"

TOO MUCH TRAFFIC!

looks like they overbooked if that was one run group. suppose it is expensive to hire spa, so they need to make money, but seriously, there should be a third of those cars there.
that is a tourist/scenic drive.
