Default GMG 996GT3 WC Sport Exhaust Video

Fabryce, James, and the crew at GMG did a fantastic job on my 2004 WC 996GT3.

Here is a short vide of their World Challenge Sport Muffler Set w/High Flow Sport Cats and X Center Section. I really dig the sound.

the weight reduction was quoted as "very significant" by the guys doing the work on the car... and I only saw the tab for the whole job, which included a new clutch... so I can't sayw exactly what the exh ran on its own. I'm the finance/bus planning/consultant guy, not hands on with the individual projects...

I'll see if I can pull the info though...

edit: GMG quotes a 50% savings in weight...I'd believe it but I don't think the guys ever put it on the before bolting stuff up to verify.

(link) Right; ~1/2 the weight of stock, if that. Cost ~$1750 (link)

The side mufflers are $1750, and the X pipe with 200 cell cats are another $2795.00. http://www.gmgracing.com/porsche_exh...g_996gt3.shtml.

Impeccable craftsmanship as well as perfect fit and finish of both components. GMG also flashed my ECU with a custom GIAC tune that is tweaked for the new exhaust flow characteristics. The throttle response compared to stock is much crisper, let alone the throatier sound at idle, and all out roar at full song in 3rd and 4th gear. I would never go back to the factory exhaust on my 6GT3.

Nice throaty sound. Not too overbearing... I am assuming no drone either

It's the best upgrade I've done to my GT3. Here's a different perspective of the GMG system, this time from directly over the pipes:

X-pipe on the '6 GT3 really makes them sound like they should in my opinion. Much more like a cup car or '7 GT3. Alot of the really aggressive mufflers by themselves don't do it for me. BUt when mated to an x-pipe it's music to my ears.
