Good luck with this project. It takes a lot of work and data entry is not fun.
I noted a couple differences in the Registry entries from what I have on record.
...4S692196 I have it as Black, you have Arctic Silver Metallic
...5S692222 I have Speed Yellow, you have Arctic Silver Metallic
Let me know.

Thanks for double checking on these. I had entered a few of these in that were on the market. You're data was correct.

I wouldn't enter the data in manually if I had more than a few cars worth. I would import the data directly to the existing file. I'm still interested in working with you on hosting the data, and I be happy to credit you and your work on the site.
Another thing I would like to add is to have the VINs be link to a decoder. I think that might be an abuse of someone elses site, though. Maybe just a link to their site for people to enter the VINs manually.

Just to let you know, PCA has the GT2/3/Cup Register, gt2gt3cup.org, where we do collect the VIN from memebers that are willing to provide it. For members that are looking for specific vehicles we can provide non-personal information about the car. We also have PIWIS access and VIN number helps us see the cars' service history to better help trouble shoot problems.
I thought I mention

Suggestion: can you have it list by manufacture Production/Sequence/Chassis Number? That would be the last 4 digits - I guess technically it could go from digit 10, which would be a '4' for 2004, or '5' for 2005, the next three will always be S69 (Stuttgart, 996, GT3), then Production/Sequence/Chassis Number.

Nice! I don't plan on more than 5000 miles a year, so you left me a bit of room! haha

I spent much of today switching the registry to an SQL database. This will help me get the data to sort and allow me to show a tally of color totals for the cars entered, in addition to other searchable options.
