996 GT3 Registry
I know this has been attempted in the past, but I can't find any of the data that people claimed to have collected online.
I set up a test site, it still needs work. Mainly on being able to sort.
Is this worth pursuing further? Is there enough interest to put time into it?

I luv the idea. It may be a bit before it takes off though. Previous to now the 996 GT3 may have been a transitional car for many. Several bought them because they were the flavor of the month. Several others bought then sold quickly as those buyers realized the car was too raw for them. Even some were bought & crashed. But I think the ownership is stabilizing enough now that this may be good timing soon. People just have to be interested enough in their car to enter the info.
I have seen the 997 GT3 registry. Its cool because you can track a particular VIN to see the cars history. The early Corvette guys do this too.
Is that what you have in mind?
Here is the link - look at the population! http://www.gt3rsregistry.com/VINs.htm

I did see this image- but it's not accurate and is not technically a registry.
