Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
I have been seriously looking at 911s for the past 6 months since I sold my M5. When I saw Seth's on 6speed, I immediately knew it was the one I wanted. The color, the mods, low miles, and the fact that it was basically a one-owner meticulously maintained car by a stand up guy like Seth just made it perfect.
So far the car has not disappointed at all. It's incredibly satisfying to drive and I'm gaining confidence every time I drive it. My thinking in buying a car like this over something like a GTR (which I was seriously considering) is that it will force me to become a better driver in order to extract the most performance from it. There is no traction control, no stability control, etc ... just driver control!
As such, I will be looking to attend some DE's at my nearby tracks: Summit Point and VIR in the near future. Please let me know if anyone is attending or instructing an event at either of these tracks so that we can hook up and I can learn from you.
I do have a bunch of small questions about the car but I'll start a new thread for those as I don't want to clutter up Seth's 'oh woe is me my GT3 is gone' pity party thread too much more .

Looks like Josh is going to fit in nicely here with the rest of us as he is already starting to through some internet smack talk around. I have already found a replacement for the GT3 so I am done with my mourning of my loss.

Congratulations Josh and Seth.
Our Region, Potomac, is very active in terms of DEs, I am sure we'll see one another either at Summit in July or VIR in September.
Enjoy the beauty.
