Default BLOWN CLUTCH WHAT TO DO?

I need a little help..i had a clutch pressure plate go bad at the track...clutch to the floor. No abuse or miss shifts....
Only about 10 track days since clutch
..just had new components upgraded last august at Porsche dealership. Car has 18 k miles and cpo’ed
PartS put in:
AS CLUTCH DISK 996-116-015-01
FLYWHEEL 964-102-239-31
BALL BEARING 35 M 931-102-111-00
SOCKET SCREW 10 928-102-151-01
CLUTCH GUIDE TUB 950-116-813-30
PRESSURE PLATE 996-116-027-51
RING GEAR 964-114-143-31
RELEASE BEARING 944-116-080-01

DELEMNA is that I have another great track in 2 wks. And the car is in storage at a race shop near the track 2 hrs away. (non Porsche but good) this shop can get the SACHS clutch package upgrade for 1000$(retail 1700$ was told?) plus labor (to be decided) and get it ready..told me not worth just changing the pressure plate.... ...downside, once they open things up there is a small chance of other damage ?

The parts could be warrantied as I had the whole clutch package and LWFW put in last august and the car is still CPO’ed and wondering if it is worth trailering 2 hrs back home to the dealer and have them look at it and maybe cover some or all of it.....it will be a lot of leg work as I am 2 hrs from the race shop and 1 hr away from Porsche dealer...but again clutch stuff wearable items not warrantied? But of course may miss a track day

Also dealer told me I have RS upgrade package? Anyone can chime in if this is in fact true on the part #’s

Thanks

Am a bit confused by the question (not sure what it is), but can add that last year I had the same thing happen on a CPO'd 997S, pedal to the floor at the track. Was able to limp back to the dealership as I did have a tiny bit of clutch (avoided red lights as much as possible, and shut down and re-started motor in 1st when needed). Was a pressure plate failure and got full coverage, including the clutch since it came as a complete kit.

If your dealer is good, you could/should get the RS clutch as replacement.

I would go to dealership.

OK, go for possible warranty. You can always upgrade later.

Get well.

996-116-015-30 (1) clutch disc i believe is the RS clutch to go with the RS lwfw..i got the sachs CLUTCH DISK 996-116-015-01 with my lwfw

http://www.koperformance.com/part-nu...11601501/SACHS

..it states only use with dual mass flywheel...i got the RS lwfw (single mass) could this have been an issue?

YES never make that mistake again..they wont even cover taking the tranny apart to look..their new (pcna) position is if the car is tracked, engine and tranny NOT covered period...BS...

i'm going to move up the ladder of command to give them some grief...

i also need to get the warranty contract to see if there is specific exclusions in writing...
