Trying to meet up at the tavern for a beer sounds like a good idea, or hell maybe in the paddock after the track closes down…

LOL, I was just going to start a thread on this on the alternate site, but this'll do

Yeah I am in for sure. How about we also do a GT Dinner either Thursday night or Friday may be. Tavern is fine or the new Mexican place downtown Danville (excellent Margaritas ). If you all tell me how many for dinner, I'll make the reservations

I've got to get me some rotors before I forget

Cheers,

I might be up for that. I am the only GT guy in our group however, unless you count Dell, since he has a GT1 derived motor I just signed up at the other site as well.

I'd agree. I think even if you are thinking of a GT you should qualify

Matt, IMHO, you need to remove "home track...VIR" slogan from your sig and put SPA (although that's next door in Belgique, it would look cool) there

If I had it to do all over again, I would have bought a cup and been done with it. After buying my GT3 and then dumping another 40K into it I could have just bought a cup and had a great tire fund left over. Now that cups are very easily attainable (996's) but with 2 small ones and my wife starting a new practice, the money needs to be aimed in other directions.

The Turbo gives me enough to keep me totally satisfied (see pic in my avatar) but at the same time missing my GT3. By going to the track 3-5 times a year and getting to watch (and help) Scott start to climb the ladder in his GT3 is more than satisfying to me. He even lets me drive her from time to time which keeps my GT3 itch scratched

Well, I've been out of the country for a couple of weeks and just saw this. Checked the event page on MSR and it looks like everything is sold out from instructor down to green! Damn, economy really sucks

I'll email them and see what the waitlist looks like. Might be able to get in.

Woohoo - I'm in. Looking forward to finally meeting you guys!

On GT dinner - any chance we can do Friday? I may end up coming up very early Friday morning, so I'd miss Thursday night.

In all seriousness I have a large trailer with a very large awning so if you save me a spot I can provide a lot of shade!

Some of us from our area will be getting there early on Thursday, so we can try to save some spots, but with it being so large of an event, it might be difficult.
