Over 10 years ago I came up with my screenname of 'ace996'. This was a result of my co-workers thinking I looked like Ace Ventura and me owning a Ducati 996 (was aceSS before, due to a 900SS Ducati).
It's been several years since I actually had reason, or deserved, to hold that '996' as part of my SN - especially posting on a Porsche forum. That changed this evening.

Car was picked-up in NW Arkansas on Friday night, driver dropped it off at sundown this evening. Won't have title until Tuesday morning, so she'll have to stay in the garage until then. Have a track day on April 22nd, though, and can't wait to dance with her. Rennlister, Alex, was a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with on the purchase. And a big thanks to Greg for tipping me off to Alex's car and for deciding to keep his beauty.

Thank you all for your help, advice, and guidance. This forum has been an invaluable resource for my research, search, and purchase. I hope to be a worthwhile contributor going forward and promise to search before I ask the usual questions.

Thanks, all. Actually, that's me pulling it out of the truck - my wife, who was giggling like a little girl, took the blurry pics. Funny, I've never seen my wife so excited about one of our 'new' cars.
