Where can I order one from and is there an as good or better aftermarket piece? Also, is there any reason that you guys can think as to why a Cup lip would not work on the GT2? Part#?
Thinking about entering the GT2 in GRM UTCC. The pro driver that would be at the wheel thinks that some front aero is in order....

Totally different front bumpers and splitter (and of course the attachment points) between the GT2 and GT3.
Any shop that can order PMNA parts for you can get the Cup splitter. Do you have any race shops local to you in AR? If not, the usual suspects carry them. In the past I ordered mine through TRG.

If you are referring to installing a Cup splitter to a street GT3 then it is a direct bolt on. I didn't use caulk or double sided tape. Actually I ran some racers tape along the seam to minimize any chance of airflow between the splitter and the bumper. Here's a couple pics.

Doug @ Top Speed made a custom splitter for the 2010 OLOA GT2 but he also ran a large rear wing. When Leh was @ VIR a few months ago with the GT2 it didn't have the rear wing and he almost lost it at the start finish line as the car was unbalanced. It was so bad they parked the car for the rest of the day. Adding a GT3 type splitter will allow more air under the car than the OEM GT2 air dam.

An incredible amount of time has gone into wind tunnel testing with the aero on these cars and to upset the balance can be very costly. As Peter said, changing one without changing the other TO MATCH is a recipe for disaster.

I'd like to second these comments about balance....we don't like adding a RS Wing even to a street 996 GT3 without dropping a cup lip on it. What wing are you running in back?
