I was just about to suggest the hankooks but it looks like you already decided to go that route. I know another local guy running them on his GT3 and he likes them so far. I will pick up a set when my PS2s die.

It's more important to look at OD instead of just the tire size. A 295/35 might be ok in an R comp, but at 26.18 OD for the NT-05, I think it would look a little silly.
