I am so sorry I did not get the chance to meet you guys face to face this weekend, I was so busy with two students, 9-10 sessions a day, it wore me out, could not socialize much in the paddock
As for the GT3: the best ever car decision I made, no looking back, there is only one car for me now; just superb!

6GT3 rocks and according to the latest issue of Brit Porsche mag GT Purely is going to be a future classic like the 72'RS. B/c it is the first generation of the GT3 and the last one without the electronics. Everything else after the 6 is not going to be as pure. I've seen spy shots of the new (991) 911. The interior looks like the Panamera's ! What's up with that ?
Gt Purely is recommending to buy a clean 6 GT3 if you can find one.
Sorry Dell, more Salt

It's crazy isn't it, darn it. Mine is a 7-3, but nevertheless, would have loved to have couple drinks afterwards. Yes, mine is white, #55, I was paddock at the corner of the second island from the garages, next to a silver GT2. I remember seeing SH||NC's car without recognizing, but I did not see LV's car. You were both in red group I assume, we were on the track at the same time, and did not even know

Yup, we chose CMP over VIR this weekend. So worth it. 10-15 at most per group. More track time than we could handle. Zone 2 got tired for me a couple years ago when it was over 250 entrants and 60+ cars in red. NO FUN!!!
Are you going to be at VIR in May with FSR for the 3 day event? We will have a LARGE group from The Triangle coming up.

Late to the party, but agree 100% Dell. I purchased an 06S Cab as a DD down at my second place in Alabama (long story), and have put a few thousand miles on it over the last few months (Tail of the Dragon last wekeend for instance). Yesterday, I headed to the track at MMP in Utah to check out the toys, and took the GT3 for a drive....
OMG - Let's just say that there is NO comparison between the "6" and the "S". What a car! The feedback is phenomenal, and I hope to always have the privledge of driving it...
Buy the damn car!!!!!
