Nevermind, don't answer. It was a rhetorical question.

By the way, I drove Scott's GT3 for a session at the track this weekend and it was like I never left the GT3 cockpit. Scott had to actually get a crowbar to get the key out of my hand

Everything about that car is sublime. You just feel so connected and 1 with her that it is really hard to describe to somebody that has never had to amazing fortune to be in one. I'm dying slowly inside..................

<-------I love my Turbo, but......
I WANT A GT3 AND I WANT IT NOW!!!!

ps. Joe, I finally got around to cashing your check and it bounced so I am going to need to repo the LVDell Speed Yellow Special

I'm lucky enough to have a R8 in my possession since ~ October Last year and it is going back to its rightful owner next month... Nothing beats the looks of that car, the (road) ride of such a drivable daily supercar. The Carbon Fiber, the attention, etc....

HOWEVER, I was without my GT3 for about 4 weeks recently and when I jumped in it (street) and drove it home then brought it back to the track the next day I realized what a fantastic car it is.. I truly love that car more than a car that is better looking, draws more attention, etc... Bottom line is the GT3 simply kicks ***...

Sorry Dell, don't mean to add salt..

6GT3 rocks and according to the latest issue of Brit Porsche mag GT Purely is going to be a future classic like the 72'RS. B/c it is the first generation of the GT3 and the last one without the electronics. Everything else after the 6 is not going to be as pure. I've seen spy shots of the new (991) 911. The interior looks like the Panamera's ! What's up with that ?
Gt Purely is recommending to buy a clean 6 GT3 if you can find one.
Sorry Dell, more Salt

Dell - not one, but 2 Yellow cars for sale - just give in already. That one for 40K seems so cheap it's almost a crime not to pick it up!

BTW, going to VIR for the first time. I'm actually shaking with anticipation a little!!!

No lie. Took mine out to track this weekend with newly installed Motons. First 2 sessions.... going well, but what did I just spend all this money on? Third session, up a couple clicks all around and car TRANSFORMED! All I want to do is drive my GT3 at the track.... all day, every day.

Now, for right $$, maybe consider selling and picking up a Cup. Otherwise, stays in garage.

The pleasure was all mine; it was really great seeing Dell jump in and execute like he did, even dialed back to my speeds / talent level; it was a fun ride-a-long. Dell was whispering something to the steering wheel as we rolled to a stop back in the paddock, something about you're still the best........

I'll try to get some vid up later this week

I am so sorry I did not get the chance to meet you guys face to face this weekend, I was so busy with two students, 9-10 sessions a day, it wore me out, could not socialize much in the paddock

As for the GT3: the best ever car decision I made, no looking back, there is only one car for me now; just superb!
