GoProHD camera settings questions......

Made by Manfrotto.
Original GoPro mount and suction cup does not pass inspection here.
For just joy riding, I've used the suction cup both inside and outside the car and it seems to work very neatly. Even put it on the front really low to the ground without any issues.

For GoPro newbies (and experienced), had some questions of GoPro, whose offices are located in my hometown, and they pointed me to a set of YouTube vids by Eye of Mine. Informative, for me anyways. (I've tried to post the link for the vids, but I keep getting an embedded vid. How do I post a link to the page with the set?)

take out the spaces after "yt"
if you want HD then it will look like mine below (without spaces in the brackets)
[yt ]jg1qkoRxIXo?hd=1[/yt ]

Just ordered the LCD BacPac (tm).
I have managed to charge the battery, install a 32GB SD card and go through the menu settings but I have not had time to setup the camera in one of my cars and take some vids. This weekend!
Sincerely,
Macster.

Went out for a longer GoPro test drive yesterday using a Kingston 16 gb card. Total route was about 50 minutes. When I played the video, it switched to another file after 35 minutes, that is, file 1 was 35 minutes long then switched to file 2 for the last 15 minutes. All looked fine, and file 2 definitely just picked up where file 1 ended. Is there a file size limitation? I didn't touch the unit; it just switched on its own.

There is a file size limitation. I don't recall what it is but it's something like 3.9gb if I remember correctly. I noticed that is I ran a long session it would do that. It's not a big deal for me since my iMovie software seamlessly clips files.
